MEC Makalo and Premier Sefora Ntombela to announce new FDC board
The MEC for Economic, Small Business Development, Tourism & Environmental Affairs (DESTEA), Mr Makalo Mohale, MPL, together with the Free State Premier, Mrs Sefora ‘Sisi’ Ntombela, hereby invites the members of the media to a media briefing on Friday, 18th March 2022. The purpose of the media briefing is for the MEC and the Premier to announce the newly appointed board of the Free State Development Corporation (FDC).
For some time, the FDC has been receiving negative feedback and has been in the limelight for the wrong reasons. The Free State Executive Council, led by the Premier, has therefore taken a decision to appoint a new board to overhaul this important entity. Our approach has been to appoint a collective of competent, dedicated, professional and skilled individuals to steer this ship towards being the principal economic development agency of the Free State.
