The performance and new set of priorities of the North West Department of Health will be on the spotlight on Thursday, 7 May 2015 when MEC Dr. Magome Masike tables the 2015/16 Budget Speech at the Provincial Legislature in Mmabatho.
The speech will give a performance review of the department during the 2014/15 financial year and also bring communities up to date on progress made in extending operating hours at clinics and community health centres. Health Infrastructure Development programme, plans to combat diseases, school health programme and plans to improve efficiency of health systems will be focus of the speech.
Presentation of the budget speech is scheduled to start at 09h30. All invited guests including the media are expected to be seated by 9h00.
