New ambulances for North West communities

The North West Health MEC Madoda Sambatha will tomorrow, Friday, 25 October unveil new ambulances to beef up the much needed emergency vehicles. Emergency services are under pressure in the Province and one of the areas which communities complains a lot about. This is due to a high demand emanating from medical emergency incidents which needs to be attended to.

MEC Madoda Sambatha promised to procure ambulances and get them on the road before the end of this year during the Budget Speech. The MEC will also use the opportunity to clarify the use of private ambulances since contracts with such service providers like Buthelezi EMS and High Care EMS were terminated. 

The display and launch of new ambulances will be followed by the final leg of the NHI Roadshow.

NHI Consultative Roadshow (14h00) at Big 5 Boardrooms.
