MEC Madoda Sambatha leads COVID-19 blitz campaigns in Mahikeng and Ramotshere-Moiloa, 5 to 6 Jan

The North West Health MEC Madoda Sambatha will tomorrow and on Wednesday lead COVID-19 awareness and compliance campaigns in Mahikeng and Ramotshere Moiloa. These campaigns follows other successful campaigns conducted during the December festive season. The campaigns has thus far targeted the hotspots.

With the numbers of new daily infections and active cases climbing, there is a need for all stakeholders to participate in raising awareness and ensuring adherence to prevention measures like avoid crowded areas, keeping social distancing, wearing a mask, sanitizing and washing hands.

The two campaigns to be led by MEC Sambatha will start as follows:

Starting point: Mahikeng Museum
Time: 09h00

Date: Wednesday, 06 January 2020
Starting point: Zeerust Taxi Rank
Time: 09h00

From the starting points, the campaigns will cover the CBD, Post Offices, Taxi Ranks, Shopping Centers and other key points.
