MEC Sambatha to meet community of Sekhing over incomplete Sekhing CHC
North West Health MEC Madoda Sambatha will hold a community meeting with residents of Sekhing village, Taung Municipality Mayor and ward councilors in the area.
The purpose of the meeting is to engage community of Sekhing village about healthcare challenges, which were fueled by the delay in completion of new community health centre. MEC Sambatha will use the meeting to update community about progress of CHC, and possible date of completion and occupation.
The meeting forms part of commitment by MEC Sambatha, following his appointment in December 2018 to unblock health service delivery challenges in the province.
The Department commissioned construction of community health centre in 2012 to make healthcare services accessible to community of Sekhing and neighboring villages.
