Alcohol abuse, sexual violence and limited opportunities dialogues
The MEC for Sport, Arts and Culture Mr Lebogang Motlhaping will be part of a dialogue session where issues of Alcohol Abuse, Sexual Violence and Limited Opportunities for Youth will be the key topics in a dialogue with Professor Yunus Ballim Vice Chancellor of Sol Plaatjie University, Dr. Albertus Maljas: Clinical Psychologist, Sabata Mokae: Author, representatives from the Sowetan and community members.
The aim of the dialogues is:
- To involve ordinary citizens on topical current affair issues that affect their lives
- To give local communities a platform for their own say
- To promote dialogue as the primary means of problem solving
- To contribute to creating stability in communities
- To bring leaders closer to the people.
