Following the deployment of Gauteng MECs to various schools around the province, MEC Lebogang Maile will be in Soweto visiting 3 different schools as schools re-open for the new academic year. Maile will be at Bukhulani and Tetelo secondary schools and at Dikhabane primary school around Tshiawelo and Protea.
The visit is meant to give morale support to the schools, where he (the MEC) will meet with school management teams as he assess among others academic preparedness, availability of stationery and late coming.
The MEC will also handover school uniform to needy learners including a soccer kit to one of the schools.
