MEC Kedibone Diale-Tlabela officiates sod-turning ceremony of P122/1 (R57) Road in Tshwane, 25 Jan

Gauteng kick starts the rehabilitation of the P122/1 Road in Tshwane

Gauteng MEC for Transport and Logistics, Kedibone Diale-Tlabela, will on Thursday, 25 January 2024, officiate the sod-turning ceremony for the rehabilitation of approximately 9,4 kilometres of the P122/1 (R57) Road in the City of Tshwane.

The project entails the reconstruction of the existing road and constructing paved shoulders, as well as the upgrading of the intersections along the route. The scope of the project also includes the upgrades of the drainage system.

This project is one of many which demonstrate the provincial government’s commitment to developing and maintaining a sustainable road infrastructure that contributes to increased economic growth and enhanced quality of life in Gauteng.
