Gauteng MEC for Roads and Transport, Kedibone Diale-Tlabela, will on Wednesday, 16 September 2026, officiate the opening of the rehabilitated R568 (K175) Road in Bronkhorstspruit, City of Tshwane, marking a significant investment in safer, more reliable and efficient road infrastructure.
The 8,1 Km R568 (K175) road is a Category B rural major arterial route that plays a critical role in connecting communities and facilitating long-distance movement, by light vehicles and medium sized trucks.
Road rehabilitation and upgrades form part of the Department’s contribution to the overall Provincial plan of Growing Gauteng Together Through Smart Mobility (GGT2030).The project underscores the Department’s commitment to improve connectivity, support economic activities and delivering infrastructure that benefits communities across Gauteng.
