Gauteng government to inspect progress on K46 road rehabilitation project

Gauteng MEC for Transport and Logistics, Kedibone Diale-Tlabela, is set to conduct an oversight visit to the K46 road rehabilitation project in Diepsloot, situated within the Fourways area north of Johannesburg. The visit is scheduled for the 1st of March 2024.

The K46 is being upgraded at the Erling interchange, a critical route connecting the road to the N14 freeway.

This project, aimed at enhancing the movement of people and goods in the Diepsloot and surrounds. Once completed, the K46 road rehabilitation project is expected to substantially improve traffic flow capacity between the N1 and N14 in the north–south direction, contributing to a more efficient and safer transportation network in the region.
