The MEC for Social Development in Limpopo, Mme Joyce Mashamba will be launching the Disability Month Programme. Annually from the 3rd November to 3rd December is dedicated as Disability Rights Awareness Month.
The 3rd December is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, and is also commemorated as National Disability Rights Awareness Day. The Limpopo Government has lined up activities to raise awareness of people living with disabilities.
This year’s activities will be held under them “Celebrating 60 years of the Freedom Charter South Africa – a free and just society inclusive of all persons with disabilities as equal citizens”.
