As part of the turnaround strategy of the Department of Human Settlements in Gauteng, MEC Jacob Mamabolo will on Thursday, 27 August 2015 host the 2nd Imbizo with contractors to roll out the formalisations of working relations with contractors through signing of Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
The second aspect to the Imbizo is to identify and address impediments that affect housing delivery and then find speedy resolutions to enhance and fast track performance and delivery of housing units. This process of engaging contractors started on 17 August 2015 when MEC Mamabolo met the first group of contractors.
