Gauteng to host a two-day Provincial Taxi Summit
Gauteng MEC for Roads and Transport Jacob Mamabolo, in partnership with the Gauteng National Taxi Alliance and South African National Taxi Council (Gauteng) will host a two-day provincial taxi summit in the Sedibeng District Municipality.
Held under the theme “Growing Gauteng through the Modernisation of the Taxi Industry”, the summit will - amongst other discussions - reflect, review and track the implementation of the resolutions that have been adopted at the previous summits.
Delegates are expected to critically assess progress in the implementation of resolutions and chart a way forward.
Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula and Gauteng Premier David Makhura are amongst keynote speakers expected to address delegates at the two-day summit.
