MEC Jacob Mamabolo hands over completed houses in Tembisa, 1 Jun

Gauteng Department of Cooperative Governance, Traditional Affairs and Human Settlements MEC Jacob Mamabolo and Ekurhuleni Housing MMC Aubrey Nxumalo will tomorrow, 1 June 2015, hand over completed houses in Clayville ext 45 in Tembisa.

A total of 200 houses have been completed and ready for hand over. Most of the beneficiaries are from Madelakufa 1 and 2, Freedom Square and other surrounding areas. The hand over will include the elderly, disabled and child headed households, who are the most vulnerable in our communities.

“We are acting on the promise by Premier David Makhura that as soon as a project is completed we must hand over the houses. Clayville ext 45 is one such project. We understand that our people cannot wait an extra day therefore together with Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality we will be restoring the dignity of the people of the area tomorrow”, MEC Mamabolo said.
