As part of the Gauteng Provincial Government’s Back to School Campaign, MEC for Roads and Transport Ismail Vadi will on Wednesday, 17 January 2018 visit five schools in Mamelodi, Tshwane.
The visit to the schools, namely Rephafogile, Letlhabile, Gatang, Japhta Mahlangu Secondary and Nelmapius Ext 1 Primary Schools, is aimed at assessing the state of readiness at the schools.
MEC Vadi will evaluate the schools' readiness in terms of educational resources such as learner support material, furniture, admissions, educators and learners attendance as well as to motivate learners.
Additional activities include planting of trees and issuing dignity packs and school uniforms to deserving learners.
