As part of October Transport Month campaign, Gauteng MEC for Roads and Transport Dr Ismail Vadi will on Monday, 20 October 2014, host a Freight Summit at the Birchwood Conference Center in Boksburg.
The summit which will be held under the theme: “Transport Moving The Economy Forward”, will discuss how road freight contribute to economic development. Planned upgrades and expansions to existing freight terminals, the rollout of new freight infrastructure, safety as well as opportunities and challenges facing the sector would be discussed at the summit.
