MEC for Roads and Transport Dr. Ismail Vadi, will tomorrow, 12 September 2014 visit the R511 reconstruction project at Swartkop, Laudium to check on the progress made thus far.
The project links the R55 (Laudium) to Diepsloot through N14 freeway, it includes the rehabilitation and reconstruction of the road, drainage system and widening as well as addition of climbing lanes.
Through the project the Department aims to provide an all-weather link between Laudium and Diepsloot, to create employment and training opportunities.
The estimated value of the project is R300 million.
