MEC aims for good governance in schools
The MEC for Education, Hon. Ishmael Kgetjepe will meet with the newly elected Schools Governing Body (SGBs) members in different parts of the province as part of inaugurating them. The events are aimed at addressing the SGBs members on good governance in schools. The first event takes place in Capricorn district.
The SGB ensures that the school runs smoothly and efficiently. They are there to contribute in improving the quality of education and ensure good governance in schools. With functional SGBs, the schools will be able to work towards delivering quality education across all the grades.
