In an effort to ensure delivery of quality healthcare in the province, Gauteng MEC for Health Hope Papo will tomorrow, Thursday, 23 May meet with facility managers of Community Health Centres (CHCs), regional managers, members of clinic committees as well community leaders in West Rand.
The visit will start at Bekkersdal CHC followed by Mohlakeng CHC where MEC will tour the facilities to inspect if proper and adequate treatment and care is provided to patients.
During these engagements, MEC Papo will discuss the challenges facility managers face, come up with solutions to run clinics effectively and report on the progress of the turnaround strategy.
Community leaders from the municipality will also a platform to share the concerns of the people in various wards and also their suggestions to improve healthcare in the region.
