Eastern Cape Ministry of Human Settlements, Safety and Liaison: Safety and Security Month 1 to 28 February 2014
Every year the Department of Safety and Liaison sets aside February as a month to give attention to raising awareness about safety and security matters affecting the communities of the Eastern Cape.
The MEC for the Ministry of Human Settlements, Safety and Liaison, Helen Sauls-August will be launching the 2014 Safety and Security Month Programme in Nelson Mandela District on 6 February 2014. The launch of the Safety month will be made up of a Media Briefing, re- launch of the Community Safety Forum and later a Youth Dialogue in the Northern Areas.
The proceedings of the day will be as follows: Media Briefing at Nelson Mandela Bay, City Hall at 10h00, re- launch Community Safety Forum at 11h00 and later Youth Dialogue in the Northern Areas.
The February Month programme will comprise of various activities to be held throughout the province.
