A new public-private partnership leads to opening of a cataract theatre in Lenasia South
To address the significant backlog of cataract surgeries in the province, the Gauteng MEC for Health Dr Gwen Ramokgopa will on Friday, 10 November 2017, officiate the opening of a dedicated cataract surgery theatre in Lenasia South CHC.
The clothing retailer, Truworths has entered into a public-private partnership with the Gauteng Department of Health and it is investing R3.6 million towards improving eye healthcare services in the province.
