MEC Ramokgopa to address provincial pharmacy conference
Today, the Gauteng MEC for Health, Dr Gwen Ramokgopa will address the provincial annual Pharmaceutical Services Conference, where the role of pharmacist in the healthcare system value chain will be under discussion.
Under the theme “Leading Transformation” the conference will deliberate on various topics such as the implementation of community based adherence clubs, the impact of pharmacy automation in various healthcare facilities in the province, and the role of the clinical pharmacist in the National Health Insurance (NHI) environment.
