The MEC for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA) FD Xasa will embark on monitoring visits to the Mbashe and King Sabatha Dalindyebo (KSD) Local Municipalities. He will be joined by his top management team led by the Head of Department (HOD) Ms Nombulelo Hackula.
MEC Xasa undertakes the visits in to consolidate, monitor and respond swiftly to public service delivery concerns in the context of public participation.
As part of the outreach programme the MEC will amongst other things, meet with the key stakeholders such as Ward Councillors, Ward Committees, Community Development Workers and Business Community.
In KSD, MEC Xasa will visit the Presidential projects including the Water Treatment Plant, Thornhill Raw Water Plant, Thornhill Substation, R61 road to Libode, road and bridge construction projects, Airport terminal building
