Gauteng MEC for Social Development Ms. Faith Mazibuko will officially open the pensioners’ gym in Kagiso and Munsieville in the West Rand on Monday.
The purpose of the gym is to promote active aging and healthy living style and to ensure pensioners safety in their communities.
More than 100 pensioners from around the community of Kagiso will benefit by becoming a members of the facility.
On the day of the opening pensioners are expected to wear their shorts to test the machines such as treadmills elliptic bikes and aerobics steps .
