The Gauteng MEC for Social Development Ms Faith Mazibuko will tomorrow award 350 Ke Moja coaches who are implementing the anti-drug and substance abuse programme throughout the province.
“Ke Moja, I’m fine without drugs” is a brand name for the Government of South Africa’s drugs and substance abuse prevention programme.
Substance abuse has become an ever-increasing challenge facing the youth globally and within the South African context. Drugs mainly affect those who are most vulnerable, such as the youth.
It is imperative that the best performing coaches and the best implementing organisations are acknowledged and commended for their service excellence, dedication and motivate them to continue with the good work.
Media is invited.
