First day of school: Minister Grant to welcome new Grade 1 learners
It is “back to school time” – this means emotional parents, nervous learners and oversized school uniforms.
Tomorrow, Minister Grant will be visiting Fairview Ps to welcome their new Grade 1 learners into “big school”.
The Minister chose this school as it is one of three new replacement schools that have been constructed for the start of the 2014 school year.
Staff at the school have been working hard during the school holidays to ensure that all is ready and prepared in their new school classrooms.
The Minister will be welcoming the new learners while their parents drop them off at school.
