Language and Mathematics Awards - MEC Grant to congratulate improved language and mathematics school
Tomorrow morning, MEC Grant will be visiting West End Primary School in Lentegeur to congratulate the school on their improved results in the 2014 Language and Mathematics testing.
The school is one of ten schools that will be receiving an award for “Overall improvement in outcomes: Grade three and Grade six” at the Western Cape Education Department language and mathematics award ceremony which will be held tomorrow evening.
The MEC will be visiting the school tomorrow to congratulate the principal and to find out first-hand how his school achieved improved results. The school improved in all categories.
He will also be releasing details of the overall provincial results for the 2013 systemic testing.

Tomorrow night the 2013 Language and mathematics award ceremony will be held which will honour the top achieving schools in the province for their performance in the 2013 Grade three, six and nine language and mathematics tests.
