MEC Donald Grant hands over certificates to Contractor Development Programme graduates, 9 Oct

MEC Grant to hand over certificates to contractors who completed six month development programme

Tomorrow, MEC of Transport and Public Works, Donald Grant, will be attending Department of Transport and Public Works’ Contractor Development Programme Certificate Ceremony, and handing out certificates to contractors that have successfully completed the course.

The Contractor Development Unit, as part of the Expanded Public Works Programme, hosted a 6 month Development Programme for 60 CIDB (Construction Industry Development Board) Grading 1 and 2 GB/CE Contractors. The programme was designed to afford small entrepreneurs in the Build Environment the opportunity to acquire essentials skills to help them excel in the Industry. The Certificate Ceremony will honour those who successfully completed the programme.

There will be opportunities for photographs and interviews with the MEC and some of the contractors.
