The MEC for Health in Limpopo, Ms Dieketseng Mashego, will officially open the Malamulele Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Station together with the newly refurbished Mortuary at Malamulele Hospital in the Vhembe District.
This milestone forms part of the Limpopo Department of Health’s ongoing commitment to strengthening emergency medical response systems and improving the dignity, quality, and accessibility of healthcare services across the province.
The newly established EMS station is expected to significantly enhance response times to medical emergencies within Malamulele and surrounding communities, ensuring that patients receive timely and life-saving interventions. In addition, the refurbished mortuary will provide improved facilities that uphold the dignity of the deceased while supporting bereaved families during difficult times.
