Minister Debbie Schäfer to visit Grade 12 Spring Schools Holiday Programme at Elsies River Secondary School
With only 11 days to go to the National Senior Certificate Exams (NSC) 2015, this is a crucial time for our Grade 12 learners.
On Thursday 8th October 2015, Minister Debbie Schäfer will visit the Grade 12 ‘Spring Holiday Programme’ at Elsies River High School.
This Spring Holiday, the WCED has organised ‘Spring Schools’ for NSC candidates at 134 of our high schools. These programmes aim to assist learners in high enrolment subjects with over 11 000 candidates attending the spring schools this year.
Providing curriculum support to our Grade 12 learners is always a priority, and the Grade 12 ‘Spring Schools’ programme is just one of the many interventions by the WCED to help support and assist our Grade 12 learners.
Tomorrow, Minister Schäfer will be visiting the Grade 12 Holiday Programme and will be dropping into the Accounting Class taught by School Principal, Mr Brydon.
