MEC Debbie Schäfer attends handover of Pop-Up Technology classrooms at Factreton Primary School, 25 Nov

Today, Minister Schäfer will attend the official handover of three Pop-Up Technology Classrooms donated by JP-IK (Pty) Ltd, an international supplier of eLearning systems to Factreton Primary School.

The three classrooms valued at over R400k each, will be donated to Facreton Primary School, Rouxville Primary School and Melton Primary School.

The secure, self-contained, smart classrooms include information technology to support e-Education. The modular design allows for rapid construction and quick access to technology.

The donation reflects cooperation by the public and private sectors in the Western Cape to build an enabling environment for eLearning in the province.

Today, Minister Schäfer will take a tour of the new technology classroom that is being placed at Factreton Primary School.
