On Friday, 25 September 2015, Western Cape MEC of Community Safety, Dan Plato, will host a youth safety outreach in Conville, George, to encourage the youth to take advantage of the opportunities presented to them.
The safety outreach will engage the youth through an informative and interactive hub of activities which includes an exhibition on study opportunities, motivational speakers and entertainment.
The Department of Community Safety will present and display the various opportunities available to youth in partnership with various partners in safety, including:
- Chysalis Academy;
- Northlink FET College;
- Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport;
- Department of Social Development;
- Badisa; and
- Government Communication and Information System.
