Western Cape MEC of Community Safety, Dan Plato, will host a public meeting regarding the community’s safety concerns in Bonteheuwel.
MEC Plato is convening this meeting out of concern about complaints received from the community regarding escalating gang violence, drug activity and criminality in the area, and has invited the South African Police Service and other safety role-players to attend.
The meeting will seek to identify the safety concerns, find suitable solutions and foster greater cooperation from all stakeholders towards a safer community in Bonteheuwel.
There will be an opportunity for photographs and interviews.
