Country comes to town for First Thursday
This First Thursday, Minister of Economic Opportunities, Beverley Schäfer will be hosting Agri-Expo, who will be bringing a little bit of the country to the big city.
Agri-Expo is well known for creating events like the South African Cheese Festival and other platforms for agricultural entrepreneurs.
Come and discover innovative products like perlemoen pies and insect ice-cream, shop for wool garments and natural Rooibos products, and taste award-winning artisanal cheeses and wines, all made in the Western Cape.
The Ministry will be open to the public from 5pm, with the official programme getting underway at 6pm. Members of the media are welcome to attend.
