MEC Makamu congratulates Limpopo winners
Limpopo MEC of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Mr Basikopo Makamu will tomorrow meet and congratulate three Limpopo Extension Officers who last week emerged as overall winners in the following categories at the 2nd National Extension and Advisory Services Awards hosted by the Department of Agriculture, Forestry & Fisheries:
- Nkotsana Reuben Maakamedi: Best Agricultural Extension Supervisory Service.
- Rose Tsamai: Mentoring the 2018 Female Farmer of the Year.
- Rendani Murovhi: Best Agricultural Advisor
Each award carries a prize money of R50 000.
The awards are in honour of the Agricultural Extension and Advisory Officers who have gone beyond the call of duty in ensuring that the farmers of the country get the necessary support.
