Finance MEC Barbara Creecy will visit the communities of Protea South and Pimville in Soweto this week to assess service delivery issues in these areas.
During her time in Soweto, the MEC will visit clinics, police stations; and conduct walkabouts in informal settlements. She will also attend two community meetings to interact with residents about the challenges that they face and outline government’s response to some of these issues.
The MEC’s visit to Soweto is part of Exco’s programme to address social challenges that affect residents in Gauteng.
