Minister to tour innovative multi-service SHAWCO Kensington Centre
Tomorrow, the Western Cape Minister of Social Development, Albert Fritz, will tour the innovative multi-service SHAWCO Kensington Centre.
The SHAWCO Kensington Centre includes after-school programmes for learners from Kensington, Maitland and Factreton, computer training classes, a reading room and library, and crèche services.
The building will also provide a space for other NGO partners, such as FAMSA, Meals on Wheels, the Union of Jewish Women Crèche, and a Department of Social Development local office.
There will be an opportunity for photographs and interviews.
