Minister Fritz to hold door-to-door in Mitchells Plain to mark International Day Against of Substance Abuse and Illicit Trafficking
Tomorrow, to mark International Day Against of Substance Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, the Western Cape Minister of Social Development, Albert Fritz, will conduct a door-to-door and awareness session in Mitchells Plain.
The Minister will be joined by Social Workers, officials from local drug treatment facilities, substance abuse treatment specialists and the police.
Tomorrow’s event is aimed at not only raising awareness about the dangers of drugs and alcohol, but also informing the public about where they can get help.
There will be an opportunity for photographs and interviews.
