MEC Alan Winde to visit Agri-Processing firms, provide update on innovations to increase province's competitiveness in global market

MEC of Finance, Economic Development and Tourism, Alan Winde will visit two factories in the Western Cape’s agro-processing sector. Employing over 50 000 people, the industry shows strong potential for job creation stemming from its key link to the primary agriculture and the retail sectors.

MEC Winde will provide an update on the Western Cape Provincial Government’s initiatives to assist local firms, with the aim of increasing their competitiveness in the domestic and export market.
