Alan Winde, MEC of Economic Opportunities, will this week table the 2015/16 budgets for the departments of Agriculture and Economic Development and Tourism. Ahead of his speeches in the Legislature, MEC Winde will host press briefings to discuss how the budgets are aligned to the Western Cape Government’s number one Provincial Strategic Goal: Creating opportunities for economic growth and jobs.

- Proposals to grow the size of the agri-processing sector as part of Project Khulisa
- Initiatives to drive successful land reform projects

- Project Khulisa’s growth proposals for the tourism and oil and gas sectors
- Plans for the enablers of economic growth, including skills, water, energy, broadband and red tape reduction
