Lodirile Secondary School in Swaneville, Mogale City will honour grandparents who continuously play an active role in the education of their grandchildren.
Grandparents at the school participate in various school committees, formulate some of the school policies, volunteer in cooking for learners in the feeding scheme, and support fundraising events initiated by the school such as cultural and sports days.
The school will on this day show its appreciation to the contribution these grandparents are making and will have various activities such as health screenings and general well-being, massages, eye testing, traditional dances and games.
