The Limpopo Legislature will on Friday the 19th October 2018 host the 2018 Older Persons’ Parliament at Ba-Phalaborwa Municipality in the Mopani District of Limpopo. The Speaker of Limpopo Legislature Hon. Polly Boshielo will address the Older Persons‘ Parliament which will give older persons from all walks of life an opportunity to unpack issues affecting their rights as enshrined in the Constitution of South Africa.
This is also because older persons are an important sector of our society with a rich source of knowledge on various matters.
The theme for 2018 Olders Persons’ Parliament is: "Celebrating the lives of Mama Albertina Sisulu and Nelson Mandela Promoting Older Persons Human Rights and Dignity: Making a Difference in Every Life".
