Today, 28 November 2012, the North West Provincial Legislature will continue with its programme of “O re bone, re go bone” at Greater Taung Local Municipality.
Following the ward meetings that were held during the campaign in various villages in Greater Taung, the legislature will once again meet the municipality, Batlhaping ba ga Phuduhutswana tribal authority and relevant stakeholders to discuss matters that were raised during the said campaign.
The campaign is aimed at ensuring that the Legislature becomes more visible and accessible to the communities and also make sure that people of the North West province are given opportunities to participate in oversight work carried out by the Committees of the Legislature.
