The Premier of Limpopo Mr Chupu Stanley Mathabatha invites members of the media to the launch of the Orange Day on no violence against women and children.
The event is scheduled as follows:

The Orange Day on no violence against women and children is aimed at addressing the following objectives:
- Uniting Communities against Gender based Violence;
- Creating a better understanding of programs and legislation that protects victims;
- Creating a platform for information sharing on planned and/or implemented projects in this regard; and
- To close the gap between Government and Citizens in allowing a two way information sharing regarding gender based violence
South Africa, through the Department of Women, Children and People with disability endorsed and launched the United Orange Day Unite Campaign; which is scheduled for the 25th of every month as an awareness programme which should take place throughout all communities.
The event will be under the following theme: “Say no, unite to end violence against Women and Children”
