South Africa's Labour Minister Mildred Oliphant and Labour Deputy Minister, Inkosi Patekile Holomisa are to jointly table the Department's Budget Vote Speech in the Old Assembly Chamber in Parliament, Cape Town tomorrow (15 July).
The minister(s) Budget Vote Speech will be delivered at 16:00.
The Minister and her Deputy will deliver the breakdown to allocation of the Department of Labour for the 2014/15 financial year. Oliphant will reflect on the state of the raft of labour legislation that recently underwent amendments such as the Basic Conditions of Employment, the Labour Relations, Employment Equity and the Employment Services Bill.
The Ministers will also reflect on the key achievements during the previous financial year, and shed light on the plans for the department in the year under review including its public entities and programmes.
