UIF and Department of Labour conduct Outreach Programme at the Kagiso Sports Complex in Krugersdorp
As part of bringing services closer to clients and stakeholders, the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) in conjunction with the Gauteng Provincial Office of the Department of Labour will be hosting an outreach programme at the Kagiso Sports Complex in Krugersdorp, Gauteng, on Saturday 24 November 2018.
The aim of the outreach programme is to educate and engage clients and stakeholders on various services offered by the UIF and Department of Labour. The event will also avail services to the public, including, inter alia: UIF claims, UIF compliance certificates, job seeker’s registration, employer registration, labour rights, and Compensation Fund claims.
Employees will be educated about their labour rights to avoid exploitation and urge them to report unlawful and unfair labour practices to labour inspectors and the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA).
Speakers from the UIF, Compensation Fund and the Department of Labour will present and engage clients and stakeholders on their respective services.
