DoL and Commission on Employment Equity to host a gala award ceremony
The Department of Labour and the Commission on Employment Equity (CEE) are to host a mouth-watering ceremony to award employers for excellence in promoting the provisions of the Employment Equity Act.
The event, scheduled to be held at Gallagher Estate, Johannesburg, on October 15, will be the first of its kind. Awards are aimed at recognising employers and also to indicate that employment equity is possible if employers put their minds to it.
Amongst the recipients will be public sector and the private sector, including Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) listed companies.
The ceremony will be hosted by the labour Minister, Mildred Oliphant and the Commission for Employment Equity to present the awards to the recipients.
