Compensation Fund Commissioner, Vuyo Mafata, hosts a breakfast networking session with stakeholders
The Compensation Fund (CF) Commissioner, Vuyo Mafata and his executive team will be hosting a breakfast networking session with Johannesburg stakeholder.
The networking session will be held in partnership with the Johannesburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the 28th November 2018 at JCC house, in Milpark.
The Compensation Fund has been having a national roadshow of networking sessions with various stakeholders in provinces since last year. The Fund uses the sessions to build more partnerships with various industry bodies and organisations.
Some of the topics under discussion include:
- New proposed Assessment Model, etc.
- CF filling system
- COID Amendment Bill
The Compensation Fund is a public entity under the administration of Department of Labour. The Fund’s mandate is to administer the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act. The main objective of the Act is to provide compensation for disablement caused by occupational injuries or diseases sustained or contracted by workers, or for death resulting from such injuries or diseases, and provide for matters connected therewith.
