Government celebrates Disability Month in November on an annual basis. This year, as part of the Media Launch, Premier Mathale will outline key activities that government will embark upon to mark the celebration of the Disability Month in Limpopo.
“The Bill of Rights enshrined in the Constitution gives everyone including people with disabilities rights that must be protected at all times. Our government is committed to ensure that people with disabilities participate actively in the democracy of our country. We need to enhance the skills base and expertise of people with disability in our province. Added to this, government must intensify the implementation of policies such as the Employment Equity to guarantee that people with disabilities participate adequately in the mainstream economy” said Premier Mathale.
