Invitation to the 2012 International Anti-Corruption Day roundtable event

The Public Service Commission (PSC), the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the University of South Africa (UNISA) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) cordially invite the members of the media to the 2012 International Anti-Corruption Day roundtable event. The event will be held at UNISA‘s Senate Hall on 10 December 2012 from 09h30 for 10h00 until 13h00, followed by a light luncheon.

The International Anti-Corruption Day is celebrated annually and is regarded as a valuable opportunity to promote the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC) and reflect on initiatives undertaken against corruption on a global, regional, and national level.

The event will be addressed by Ms Lindiwe Sisulu, Minister of Public Service & Administration, Mr Ben Mthembu, Chairperson of Public Service Commission and Mr Zwelinzima Vavi, Chairperson of the National Anti-Corruption Forum and Secretary-General of Congress of South African Trade Unions.

The members of the media are invited to the event.
